Five inducted to Madison Sports Hall of Fame; Johnson named Sportsman of the Year

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - Five new names were added to the Madison Sports Hall of Fame on Wednesday.

Madison East’s Ed Bosold, Elise Edwards from Madison Memorial, Jonte Flowers and Peter Mueller from Madison LaFollette, and Al Minnaert from Holy Name and Edgewood were inducted at the Monona Terrace.

WMTV15 Sports Director Mike Jacques presented Wisconsin head women’s hockey coach Mark Johnson as Sportsman of the Year for leading the Badgers to yet another national championship.
