RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - On Tuesday, June 3, 42-year-old Karrell Morgan was arrested and booked into Washoe County Detention Facility and charged with vehicle burglary; swindling; possession of a credit/debit card without cardholder consent; grand larceny between $1,200 to $5,000; and four counts of using a credit/debit card or ID without consent, according to the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO).
The incident happened Monday, June 2, when a vehicle was taken from a parking lot near the district courthouse in downtown Reno.
In addition to the vehicle, the victim said credit and debit cards were taken.
WCSO district court bailiffs viewed nearby surveillance footage, which showed the suspect, according to WCSO. Morgan was flagged as a repeat felony offender with violent behavior.
