ALLISON, Iowa (KWWL) - Parents of Allison’s Dance Center are demanding answers, after an abrupt end to the season for more than 25 dancers.
The dance studio is choosing to end the dancer's seasons if they weren't planning to enroll for the upcoming year. Contracts were made in August 2024 for all students and their families to commit to one year.
The dance studio issued a statement Wednesday, saying, “with our core values as our guide, decisions are made for the collective good of the organizations and its members. As we prepare for our 2025-2026 season, students can build their self-esteem and self-confidence while learning the valuable elements of work ethic, discipline and teamwork.”
