COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - The Columbus Police Department is actively searching for a suspect wanted on an active warrant for trafficking methamphetamine.

Authorities warn that 49-year-old Richard “Rick” Morton is known to be armed and should not be approached.

Morton is described as 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighing approximately 220 pounds. Police are urging anyone who sees him or knows of his whereabouts to call 911 immediately or contact CPD at 706-225-3400. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
