CARS ARE THE STARS: The Girard Multi-Generational Center on Trumbull Avenue will present The Cars Are The Stars Benefit Classic Car Show 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, with registration 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Registration day of show is $10 per vehicle. There also will be a 50/50 raffle, door prizes and a DJ. Awards will be presented.

PETTING ZOO: McKinley Memorial Library will present Summer Reading Kickoff: Pony Time Ranch and Petting Zoo 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday on the grounds of the National McKinley Birthplace Home. Attendees can register for the summer reading program and interact with animals, including ducks, lambs, rabbits and a puppy. This event is weather permitting.
