WENATCHEE, Wash — Long after the formal vigil for Paityn, Olivia and Evelyn Decker ended at Memorial Park in Wenatchee, the community continues to visit the growing tribute to the three sisters believed to have been killed by their father.
On Wednesday, dozens of people brought flowers, drawings, candles and other artifacts to the park.
"It's touching, it brought tears to my eyes. I wanted to be here today so we're getting some flowers for the memorial," said Terri Frank. "My heart goes out to the family. Just hearing about this, I can't imagine it happening."
Frank said she does not know the Decker family, but was compelled to pay respect to the girls.
"It's nice how this community has come together knowing the family is not there by themselves. We're all thinking of them," she said
