The Trump administration is contemplating renaming several U.S. naval ships, including the USNS Cesar Chavez, a vessel named in honor of the late civil rights activist and farmworkers' rights advocate. The potential name change has sparked disappointment among Chavez's family.
Andres Chavez, the grandson of Cesar Chavez and executive director of the National Chavez Center, expressed his dismay over the news.
