Ring in Mars New Year on Friday and Saturday on the borough’s Grand Avenue. There will be scientific exhibits and STEM activities for families provided by organizations like NASA, Astrobotic, JPL and Aldrin Family Foundation.
The Robotics Village, a 2,000-square-foot space, will showcase the latest in robotics technology, and local robotics club members will demonstrate their talents with it.
Making its debut on Saturday, June 7, the Martian Melody Orchestra will entertain attendees with a show centered around space and exploration. The performance will run from 6 to 7 p.m.
Dr. Jim Green, former chief scientist at NASA, will deliver a presentation at the Mars New Year Festival to share insights into the next era of space exploration and what the path beyond Earth looks like.
