ESCANABA — The results are in from the 4th Annual Soo Line Steam Engine #730 Golf Scramble Fundraiser that was held on May 29th at the Escanaba Country Club.

Congratulations to the winning team with a score of 56 on the Par 72 course. The winning team sponsored by the Walt Houghton Jr. family was made up of Larry, Steve, Jeff and Dennis Bratonia. This is their first year in the event.

Second place went to Team O’Connor. Members were Ken Wilkie, Ron VanSloten, Fred Benoit and Jason Wallace who drove the Hole in One Prize Brand New Jeep Compass from Pickford to support the local project of upkeep and lasting perpetual care of the Soo Line Steam Engine #730 and future historical museum and welcome center. The 4th annual event saw an increase in Golfers and Sponsors.
