ALBEMARLE COUNTY, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- The Albemarle County Police Department and Virginia State Police are already planning their next joint initiative after they say the recent proactive weekend enforcement was very successful.

Over all four weekends, the two agencies collectively arrested 32 people, with 74 charges coming from those arrests, issued 165 warnings on the road, and made 232 community contacts, which is a little over three times as many charges.
