WATERTOWN — Two players from Watertown and another from Aberdeen Central have been selected to the 2025 All-Eastern South Dakota Conference softball team.

The team is selected by the league's coaches.

Senior Aleia Johnston of Watertown earned all-conference honors and juniors Lauryn Hirsch of Watertown and Kaylee Kiesow of Aberdeen Central each received honorable mention.

Johnston batted .449 (22-for-49) for a Watertown team that went 4-13 overall. She hit two doubles and a home, scored 13 runs and drove in 16.

Hirsch, an outfielder-pitcher, batted .278 (15-for-54) with two doubles, three homers, 11 runs scored and nine RBIs. She also pitched in seven games.

Johnston and Hirsch each received honorable on the All-ESD team in 2024.
