EVANSVILLE — A cyber criminal group reportedly targeted Evansville-based Anchor Industries with a ransomware attack late last month, officials and cybersecurity researchers say.

An Anchor Industries spokesperson on Wednesday confirmed the company was conducting an "ongoing investigation" in response to a cyberattack, but they declined to detail the nature of the breach or its impact on the company's operations.
