ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The RTS Transit Center closed early Wednesday night after multiple fights.

According to the Rochester Police Department, they saw multiple youths fighting at the transit center. They were able to disperse the group inside the building. No injuries were reported.

RPD and RPD made the decision to close the transit center that evening. They said it was to prevent the situation from escalating.

One person, an 18-year-old male whose name was not released, was arrested and charged with third-degree menacing. He was released with an appearance ticket.
