About 50 shots were fired at people at a house party in Catawba County on Sunday, according to Catawba County District Attorney's Office.

One person died and 11 others were injured in the shooting on Walnut Acres Drive in the Mountain View area, which happened at about 12:45 a.m. Sunday.

Garon Nathaniel Killian, 20, of Lenoir, was arrested Tuesday evening. Killian is charged with one count of attempted first-degree murder in connection to the shooting. He appeared in Catawba County District Court on Wednesday and received a $200,000 secured bond.

Two others were charged with attempted first-degree murder on Wednesday.
