LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A former Bardstown, Kentucky, high school teacher has started serving his jail sentence after pleading guilty to charges of sexual abuse and harassment of students.
Jeremy Dale will serve 60 days in jail after the plea.
According to his arrest report, police said Dale, "being in a position of authority," exposed a female student to sexual contact on two occasions and harassed several other female students.
Dale was put on administrative leave in early February 2023 as the district investigated, and was fired later that month from Bardstown High School after his arrest .
Police said Dale turned himself in after a warrant was issued for his arrest on two counts of first-degree sexual abuse and one count of harassment involving physical contact.
