The UIL baseball state tournament is coming to a close, as all six classes meet at Dell Diamond in Round Rock to decide the best teams in Texas.

Out of the five teams that made the state semifinals, only two advanced to the finals. Lake Travis lost the first game against Atascocita 3-2, but managed to steal the following game 4-1. The Cavaliers gave up only one run in the decider but were shut out, losing 1-0. Dripping Springs and Liberty Hill also lost 6-5 and 5-4 in Game 3s to Kingwood and Kingwood Park, respectively.

In Class 4A Division II, Wimberley will face Spring Hill in the finals after sweeping Bridge City 4-1 and 7-6. Thrall defeated Orange Grove in three games 4-7, 7-1 and 2-1. They'll play Wall for the Class 3A Division II title.
