SAYLORSBURG, Pa. — Crews boarded up the windows and a hole is left in the roof here at Best Friends Veterinary Clinic on Route 115 in Saylorsburg.

“Unfortunately I don't think too much is salvageable,” said Julie Sobers, the daughter of the vet’s owner. “Except for luckily a couple of things like diplomas, letters, pictures.”

“I'm shocked,” Sandy Lewis, of Sciota, said. “I feel bad for her because she is a great vet. We just all love her.”

Officials said no animals were inside and no one was working when the fire started.
