WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- An argument that started over an electric vehicle charging cable turned into a shooting in D.C. on Tuesday. One man was arrested on Thursday in connection with the incident.
Around 3 p.m. on June 3, officers responded to the 2600 block of 10th Street, Northeast, for the report of a shooting. Two people were in an argument over an electric vehicle charging cable when the suspect shot the victim.
The victim was transported by DC Fire and EMS to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators with the Metropolitan Police Department’s Real Time Crime Center tracked the suspect’s vehicle to a home in the 1000 block of Bryant Place, Northeast.
