On Friday, from 4 a.m. to 5:30 a.m., Carson City Health and Human Services (CCHHS) will conduct ground fogging as part of the Mosquito Abatement Program.
“The ground fogging will take place in northeast Carson City, including the Riverview Park neighborhood and the Apollo Drive area. This treatment aims to control the adult mosquito population and protect public health,” according to a news release.
CCHHS vehicles are expected to drive through designated streets, emitting a spray or fog that targets adult flying mosquitoes.
