DENVER, Colo. (KKTV) - A former paramedic in Colorado is facing multiple charges after being accused of working without a license, according to Attorney General Phil Weiser’s office.

Officials say Lauren Wilson, 53, was issued a paramedic certificate in 2009 by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE).

CDPHE reportedly learned in 2011 that Wilson had an undisclosed criminal history under a different spelling of his name that constituted grounds to revoke his certification.

Before the revocation process was completed, officials say Wilson’s paramedic certificate expired in 2012.
