ROCK HILL, S.C. — Two people are facing charges related to a shooting in Rock Hill on Monday night, police said.

The shooting happened along Heather Square, just off Celanese Road near Interstate 77, around 11 p.m. on June 2. When officers arrived, they found a man who'd been shot in the legs. The 33-year-old victim was taken to Piedmont Medical Center and is expected to recover.

On Thursday, Rock Hill Police announced that detectives had identified 20-year-old Antonio Maurice Roberts Jr., and 18-year-old Saiye Kashiir Golden, as suspects in the case. Both suspects were served warrants for attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a crime of violence.

The investigation remains active. Anyone with information is encouraged to call Rock Hill police immediately.
