CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (WBOY) - A house that had already burned once this year caught fire again early Thursday morning.
The fire was called in just after 4 a.m. on U.S. Route 19 just south of the Clarksburg city line, and crews responded shortly after that to find the house fully involved.
Fire crews had responded to another fire at the same house in February of this year, said Nutter Fort Fire Department Lt. Frank Ferrari
The house was supposed to be unoccupied, but neighbors reported seeing people going in and out of the house often, according to Lt. Ferrari.
Route 19 was closed while firefighters put the fire down. There's no word on what caused the fire yet, but Ferrari said it was likely suspicious.
No one was injured in the fire, and the house itself was a total loss.
