Cleveland Harbor West Pierhead Lighthouse
The red-roofed white-house lighthouse looks similar to the Fairport Harbor West Lighthouse, but this one is visible from Downtown’s best hotspots, including the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and the Great Lakes Science Center. While it’s non-functioning and remains closed to the public, it’s still a sight to behold from afar, especially during the winter months when it freezes over with massive icicles. The structure has been identified on the National Register of Historic Places since it was built in 1910, and it was recently sold at auction for $425,000.
