|TAMPA — The stakes never have been higher for Tampa Bay’s first professional women’s soccer team as it prepares to play for a shot at a first-division title.
The second-seeded Sun (12-6-10) will face No. 3 Dallas Trinity FC (12-9-7) in a semifinal match Saturday at Riverfront Stadium, with the winner advancing to the inaugural USL Super League final.
With just one loss in their past nine games (going 6-1-2), the Sun enter the match with momentum on their side and firm belief in themselves.
