COBB COUNTY, Ga. — Twelve people were arrested Wednesday at a nail salon in Cobb County, Homeland Security Investigations said .

A post by HSI Atlanta on X said the 12 people were taken into custody for "working unlawfully" in the U.S. Hiring such workers, HSI said, "is a federal crime that undermines fair labor, exploits the vulnerable, and threatens public safety. Employers will be held accountable."

The arrests came a day after questions were raised by a metro Atlanta lawmaker, state Rep. Eric Bell, about an alleged ICE roundup that was happening at a Walmart in Riverdale.
