LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Morning showers come to an end and we should see peeks of sunshine by the afternoon in some locations.

Showers and heavier rain have been working through Mid-Michigan all morning and will come to an end as the cold front continues to pull to the east. We should see improvement by the noon hour as rain comes to an end and drier air works in.

Daytime highs today remain cool but still seasonably close to average. We only get into the low to mid-70s with the lack of sunshine and mostly cloudy skies today. Tonight, clouds slowly return, allowing for temperatures to remain in the low to mid-50s.

By Friday, we should start to see drier conditions with a mix of clouds and sun! There could be a stray shower or two, but I think we'll stay dry across most of the area. Dayti
