AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — Dena Perdue from the Amarillo Harley Owners group and Wes Reeves from the Texas Panhandle First Responders Memorial board joined Today in Amarillo to discuss the High Plains Raffle Run.

The High Plains raffle run will benefit the Texas Panhandle First Responders Memorial which will be built in downtown Amarillo once fully funded. The memorial will honor every first responder within the top 26 Panhandle counties who have given their life in the line of duty.

The event is Saturday, June 7 with registration beginning at 9 a.m. at Tripp's Harley-Davidson located at 6040 I-40 West. The run is open to both cars and motorcycles and will include a scavenger hunt covering nearly 155 miles over several counties.
