A MetroCenter office building that sold for $16.5 million four years ago has now been acquired by a global asset management company for about $4 million less than that figure.

According to a Davidson County Register of Deeds document, the new owner is an LLC affiliated with London-based Schroders. The LLC paid about $12.58 million for the six-acre property, which is located at 2 Vantage Way .
The Schroder website notes the company had $99 billion in assets under management, about 640 employees and 26 offices in various countries.
The seller was an LLC associated with Boise, Idaho-based A10 Capital. That entity, which provides real estate loans, paid $7.1 million for the property in September 2024. The seller in that deal was a New York-based entity, details a
