RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Pride Month is here, bringing a time to celebrate while also reflecting and learning. A professor from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) will host a lecture on the role of LGBTQ+ rights in an inclusive democracy Thursday evening at Richmond's Main Library.
From 6 to 7:15 p.m. at the auditorium of Richmond Public Library's Main Library, Eli Coston, Ph.D. will host a lecture on how LGBTQ+ rights are a building block of a healthy democratic society.
Attendees are encouraged to bring notebooks and questions. After the lecture, a question-and-answer session will be facilitated by Liz Canfield, Ph.D.
