When firefighters pulled a kayaker out of the water at Long Pond in Plymouth , he didn’t have a pulse. First responders quickly began CPR.
The rescue began around 6:38 a.m. Wednesday after multiple 911 calls were made reporting a kayaker had fallen into the water and was struggling.
Using boats, first responders began searching the waters. Officers found the unconscious man about 200 feet from shore.
Plymouth Fire and Plymouth Police pulled the man into the boat, and firefighters immediately began administering lifesaving measures, including CPR.
The man regained a pulse and was taken to a local hospital. Officials did not release any further information about his condition.
