WENATCHEE, Wash. — The search continues for Travis Decker, who is wanted on probable cause for murder in connection with the deaths of his three daughters, who were found dead west of Leavenworth earlier this week.

Paityn, Evelyn and Olivia Decker, ages 9, 8 and 5, were reported missing last weekend after their father, Travis Decker, failed to return with them from a scheduled visitation.

Chelan County Sheriff Mike Morrison said Wednesday that Decker is “well-versed” in outdoor survival and, in the past, he has lived off the grid for at least two months. Morrison said there is a possibility Decker may have scoped out the area and planted resources in advance to his disappearance.

Officials have not yet determined a motive, Morrison said at a Wednesday press conference.
