MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - The woman previously declared AWOL from the Dane County Sheriff’s Office Jail Diversion Program has been arrested and is back in the Dane County Jail, according to an update Thursday morning.

Officials said they found Emily Derra, 34, on the 4500 block of Verona Road in Madison after looking into a tip about the man she was with, who also had a warrant out for his arrest. The Sheriff’s Office explained the man tried to run away, but ultimately Madison Police officers were able to arrest both him and Derra.

Derra was serving a 240-day sentence for a fourth offense OWI and had been declared AWOL Tuesday morning.
