WASHINGTON, D.C. (WBNG) -- Helping America’s aging farm workforce was the theme behind a U.S. Senate Special Committee on Aging hearing on Wednesday.

Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, who was the ranking member, and other members of the committee led the discussion.

They heard from several expert witnesses:

Zippy Duvall, President of the American Farm Bureau Federation,

Jim Alderman, owner of Alderman Farms,

Aaron Locker, Managing Director at agricultural executive search firm Kincannon & Reed,

Dr. Chris Wolf, E.V. Baker Professor of Agricultural Economics and Director of Land Grant Affairs at Cornell University
