(WHTM) -- The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced that Yamaha has expanded its golf cart recall, which now includes more than 350,000 golf carts.

According to CPSC, about 352,000 Yamaha Golf Car Vehicles have now been recalled because the accelerator pedal spring can fail to return to idle when a consumer stops pressing the accelerator pedal, posing a crash hazard.

To date, Yamaha has received at least 2,200 reports of incidents involving accelerator pedal return spring failures.

No injuries have been reported in relation to the recalled units.

CPSC says these recalled golf carts were sold at Yamaha dealers nationwide from July 2015 through December 2024 for between $5,970 and $13,220.
