GLENVILLE, W.Va. (WV News) — A Charleston man was arrested Wednesday in connection with a stabbing that occurred last month on the campus of Glenville State University.

Tyler Lee Anderson, 22, was taken into custody in Kanawha County on arrest warrants related to a May 11 altercation near Goodwin Hall at the university.

According to the West Virginia State Police, troopers from the Glenville Detachment responded to the scene alongside officers from the Gilmer County Sheriff’s Department and the Glenville City Police Department. The investigation found that Anderson and another man, Devan Gauldin, 22, of Prosperity, were allegedly involved in a verbal dispute that escalated into a physical fight.
