LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- Police are investigating a crash that injured a pedestrian overnight.

The crash was reported around midnight Wednesday on Flamingo Road near Lindell Road. Las Vegas Metropolitan police said a person was crossing Flamingo outside of a crosswalk and was struck by a driver in an SUV.

The pedestrian was transported to the hospital, but police did not know the extent of the injuries.

The driver remained at the scene, and impairment is not suspected, police said.
