The Switch 2 is officially out this week, marking the next generation of Nintendo’s portable gaming console with snazzy graphics and hardware tweaks. And, if previous console releases are anything to go by, it’s going to be impossible to get ahold of one for months.

Frankly, that’s not a bad thing because consoles from all the makers have a knack of launching with a thin lineup of new must-play games. It’s not until years into a release that you’ll get a great feel of what a console has to offer.

So, for this edition of the “Great Indoors” I’d like to take a look back at some of the games that really stuck with me ever since I walked into a Fred Meyer on the Switch launch day and happened to snag one.
