Anita Harris Lutz, 72, of Benton, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at Calvert City Nursing and Rehabilitation.

Anita was born in Danville, Illinois, on September 27, 1952, to the late Earl Harris and Neoma Grover Harris. Her loving and nurturing personality was felt by everyone she interacted with, and it eventually led her to spend many years working as a CNA at Oakview Nursing Home, as well as in the long-term care unit at the old Marshall County Hospital. Helping others was not the only thing that Anita was passionate about. She was an excellent cook who enjoyed preparing meals for others both at home and while working in the kitchen at Bee Springs Lodge and Ray’s Roost.
