AIRPOD owners could soon be in for a big free upgrade that allows them to take photos and more with their iPhone.
Camera controls are reportedly being prepared for the upcoming iOS update.
All users will have to do is tap the stem of an AirPod earpiece to trigger the camera, according to 9to5Mac .
This could come in particularly handy when trying to take selfies or big group shots.
But that's not the only trick Apple apparently has up its sleeve.
It's rumoured that there will be new sleep detection coming too.
This will turn your AirPods off when the device detects that you've nodded off with them in.
That means no more sleep timers - and no waking up with all the battery drained.
However, it's not clear whether this will work on the AirPods and iPhone, or require an Apple Watch
