SCAPPOOSE, Ore. (KATU) — Larry Holland, a 46-year-old resident of Scappoose, has been sentenced to life in prison after pleading guilty to two counts of first-degree murder.

The sentencing took place last month in Columbia County Circuit Court.

The charges stem from a March 2024 incident in Scappoose, where Holland was accused of stabbing three individuals at a residence.

Two of the victims were pronounced dead at the scene. Following the attack, Holland was arrested and held at the Columbia County Jail until his sentencing in May 2025. He has since been transferred to the Oregon Department of Corrections.
