MERCER COUNTY, WV (WVNS) -- The Mercer County Sheriff's office is investigating the reported drowning death of a toddler.

According to a press release, the drowning death of a 13-month-old child that reportedly happened in the home is being investigated by the Mercer County Sheriff's Office.

The Mercer County Sheriff's Office stated that no additional information will be released, and that the investigation remains ongoing at this time.
