Southbound Highway 525 near the Interstate 5/405 interchange by Lynnwood has reopened after a fatal crash Thursday morning, the Washington State Department of Transportation said on X.

The crash had left two lanes blocked on the road for about three hours, starting around 4:15 a.m. and ending around 7:30 a.m.

A car had run into a median, Trooper Kelsey Harding said on X about 4:45 a.m.
