GRAND ISLAND, Neb. — A Grand Island man faces charges of burglarizing a business.

Christopher Martin, 36, is charged in Hall County Court with two counts of burglary.

According to an arrest affidavit, on May 14, Grand Island Police responded to a reported burglary at Chief Buildings, 1821 North Road. The business reported someone pried open a door and stole multiple items, including a Go Pro Hero 8 camera valued at $400.

On Tuesday, the business reported a second burglary that occurred during the night where multiple items were stolen including a diamond ring with a Chief logo.

GIPD said an online marketplace listing showed Martin selling a Go Pro that matched the one stolen from Chief Buildings. Surveillance footage also showed Martin as the suspect.
