Police have arrested a second teenager in connection with the killing of a bystander who was struck by a stray bullet as two groups fought on a Bronx street in April, NYPD officials said Thursday.
The 13-year-old boy was taken into custody Wednesday around 7 p.m. in the same police precinct where the shooting occurred on the afternoon of April 23, officials said. He is being charged with second-degree murder in addition to first-degree manslaughter and second-degree possession of a weapon.
Daoud Marji, a 28-year-old Yonkers man, died as a result of the shooting, which also injured a 33-year-old woman. Officials said both were bystanders, and that Marji and the woman were struck by gunfire that erupted during a dispute between two groups at University Avenue and West Kingsbridge Road in K
