BLACK HAWK COUNTY, Iowa (KCRG) - A bus driver has been cited after two people were injured in a Black Hawk County school bus crash Tuesday.

Police responded to the single vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon.

According to a release from the Black Hawk County Sheriff’s Office, the bus was traveling northbound on Union Road when the driver lost control.

The bus entered a ditch, rolling onto its side.

Three juvenile passengers were on the bus when the crash occurred.

The driver and one passenger were transported to nearby hospitals for minor injuries.

The driver of the bus has been identified as 59-year-old Dawn Chase.

Chase was cited for failure to maintain control.
