Alleged thefts of over $2K in Legos lead to felony charge

BOARDMAN, Ohio (WKBN) -- A woman is facing a charge of felony theft after reports state she stole thousands of dollars worth of Legos from a store.

Police were called to the Target at 417 Boardman Poland Road in The Shops at Boardman Park on May 29 for reports that a woman had loaded a cart full of Lego sets and then left the store without paying for them -- something employees claimed she had done in the past.

When police arrived at the store, reports state they observed a woman matching the suspect's description near the entrance of the store, with an employee yelling at officers that she was the woman involved in the theft.

The woman, identified as Anna Stone, was then detained while police investigated.
