ROSEBURG, Ore. — Douglas County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO) officers responding to a report of males fighting and a gunshot heard in Roseburg at about 6:30 pm Tuesday found two men- one bleeding, but both uncooperative.
The tense situation was defused after the DCSO Tactical Response Team intervened with a K-9 officer.
On arrival at the incident in the 1800 block of Melqua Road in Roseburg, deputies found two Roseburg men, aged 45 and 51, seated in the cab of a parked grey 1994 Toyota pickup.
The older man was bleeding and appeared injured. Still, both refused to cooperate with efforts to contact them to evaluate the wounded man’s medical condition.
