Sean Safranski

FARGO — Fargo Public Schools have announced a new principal for Davie High School.

Sean Safranski will be the new principal for the 2025-2026 school year, starting July 1. Safranski has been assistant principal for Davies since 2013.

A graduate of the University of North Dakota, he began his career in education in 1999 as an eighth grade Earth science teacher at West Fargo Middle School.

He earned a Master of Educational Leadership from North Dakota State University.

From 2004 until 2013, Safranski was the principal of Shanley High School and Sullivan Middle School.

Troy Cody, who currently holds the position, is leaving for a role in the private sector.
