LEANDER, Texas — Leander police are asking for the public's help identifying several teens they say threw frozen water bottles at cars, causing damage and, in at least two cases, injuries.
The Leander Police Department said over a dozen incidents of Criminal Mischief occurred on May 29 and 30 between 9-11 p.m. on both nights.
Police said the "juveniles" were throwing frozen water bottles from the sunroof of a 2014 white Dodge Durango on May 29, near San Gabriel Parkway and County Road 270, as well as from the truck beds of a lifted, two-tone, white/gray pickup and a dark-colored pickup with a chrome brush guard along North Bagdad Road.
