The Miami Dolphins are bringing in another big body on the defensive line who can compete for a roster spot and playing time come the fall season.
The Dolphins signed defensive tackle Ben Stille, who previously spent time in Miami in 2022, back onto the offseason roster, the team announced Thursday morning.
Stille, who is 6-feet-4, 296 pounds, was originally an undrafted free agent signing of the Dolphins out of Nebraska for coach Mike McDaniel’s first rookie class in 2022.
He did not make the active roster that year, but from the practice squad, he was called up for and appeared in one game for the Dolphins. Later that season, Stille was poached by the Cleveland Browns, signed to their active roster, appearing in six games the second half of the year and even starting one.
